RRI.jpgRoad Research Institute (RRI) is a unit of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU), which is one of the largest technical universities in Lithuania. VGTU RRI is a leading road research organization in Lithuania having high quality personnel with a long term experience in road research activities, mainly focusing on scientific research and engineering works, development and application of road building materials, construction technologies, road and pavement structures, structural design and performance assessment, surface characteristics, maintenance and asset management, ITS, environment and safety improvements as well as creation of national standards and other normative documents. VGTU RRI is also deeply involved in the European road and transport research activities, personnel of VGTU RRI are members of a number of transport sector international organisations. The quality of activity is assured by quality management system according to standards LST EN ISO 9001, LST EN ISO 14001, BS OHSAS 18001 (LST 1977).
